Franco, the fourth generation of the Ortelli family, started managing the hotel alongside his father in 1992 after some work experience abroad. He married Melania Valle in 2001.
The rooms in the older part of the hotel were remodelled from 1999 to 2000 and in 2008 the small beach was enlarged and improved.
